what is prodigalconcepts.com?
Hi, welcome to prodigalconcepts.com the website and online portfolio *slash digital design garage of Rod Rodriguez, that’s me! I’m a freelance web-designer from Manila (Philippines) and this is how I spend most of my waking hours, conceptualizing, customizing and enhancing websites. And when I grow up I’m going to be a Ninja!
This site also serves as a way for me to reach out to fellow designers by sharing articles, resources, tutorials, inspirations and pay homage to the great ones who continue to blaze the trail for the entire community.
I enjoy photography not as a professional but as an enthusiast, I blog as much as I can, and aside from being the brains behind this entire operation, I’m also maintaining graphx.com my very first full pledged online portfolio together with Echoes of a Xzykho a blog I put up long ago to keep my personal rants on just about anything.
When I’m not working, I like to…
Watch a movie, read or browse for the latest design trends, update my blog, design mock ups, grab a book, catch up with friends, play PC games, cook pasta dishes, travel, sleep…
I’m still in the early process of tweaking my contact page so if you want to get in touch to work with me or buy me a beer or even pick my brains and stuff like that write me an email and send it to zegirdordr (@) yahoo (dot) com

Rod is a very talented web designer. I considered it a privilege to have the opportunity to work with him. Not only did he bring his talent to the project he brought his heart and his intuitive ability to understand and translate my likes and dislikes. Rod showed patience and a desire to see my vision and make it happen even at 1:00 AM his time as we worked on changing some element for the fifth or sixth time. He is a dedicated and professional individual with an honest work ethic. It was actually one project I was sad to see come to an end.

for the theme Mystique, I will try to customize this as much as I can but the features are just too awesome to disregard. Great job! - bert monroy
for telling me to play with photoshop (not in person of course) he always ends his show pixel perfect with the reminder that “it’s all play not work” and there’s more than one way to get to the end result. - nick la
